Live wedding paintings offer an unforgettable experience, not only for the newlyweds but also for the guests. Painted throughout your ceremony, the final piece will encapsulate the very energy of your special moment, cherished on your wall for years to come!
Before the big day, I will set up a consultation call to go over your vision! This is when you describe the moment you’d like captured, request any special individuals or details be included, and generally chat about the day-of to ensure it runs smoothly.
I begin by arriving early to set up and start painting the ambiance of your chosen venue. Throughout the reception, I diligently work on the painting (and entertain guests in the process!). Whether it’s the first dance or the celebratory walk down the aisle, I strive to encapsulate the spirit that makes your day unique.
After the wedding, I complete any remaining details in my studio to refine the painting to its finest form. This allows me to incorporate special requests, such as including family members or pets who couldn’t be present at the ceremony.
Artistic Medium:
Each painting is completed with an acrylic underpainting and a finishing layer of oil paint, maximizing on the vibrancy and efficiency of acrylics while utilizing the control and luminescent quality of oils. The painting is then carefully finished with an archival varnish, ensuring its longevity and protection. It arrives ready to hang with appropriate hardware included. Professional framing can be included at an additional cost.
Delivery and Updates:
You can expect your completed portrait to be shipped within 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. Throughout the process, I keep you informed and involved by sharing progress pictures of your painting, ensuring it meets your expectations and captures the essence of your special day!
